After weeks of looking forward to the Royal Ascot 2015, the great horse-racing event of the year has concluded.  It’s hard to believe it’s already over, but on Saturday the last race was won as the American horse Undrafted triumphed in the Diamond Jubilee Stakes over Brazen Beau. 

Let’s take a look at the day-by-day results:

Day One

If you are new to horse racing betting, you may be in need of an introductory course, which is why I decided to write this series on horse racing terminology.  In our first installment, I talked about the different types of horse races.  I will also shortly introduce the different types of straight and exotic horse racing wagers.  Now I want to tell you more about the different types of thoroughbreds and how they are classified. 

As a sports gambler, you probably spend plenty of time daydreaming about the huge wins you will one day make.  You might also dream about the day you can quit your day job and walk out of your office forever.  You might look forward to buying a big house and a sports car.  But before you can live it up, you have to learn how to live down your failures.  As hard as they are to think about, they will happen.  And if you are not ready to cope when they do, you will fail harder and more often.
