Which Royal Ascot Enclosure Is Right For You?

If you are going to be attending the Royal Ascot this year, good for you!  It is an incredible experience.  You are not going to find a more exciting opportunity to bet on horseracing in the UK year round.  If this is your first year, you will need to choose one of the three enclosures when you buy your tickets: the Royal Enclosure, the Queen Anne, the Windsor Enclosure or the Village. Any one of these offers you an outstanding view of the races and incredible amenities.  But how to you choose?

• Royal Enclosure:  Choosing this one is easy.  Essentially, if you have an invite from a member, go for it!  It offers the most elegant experience you are going to find at the Royal Ascot.  Unfortunately, if you do not have an invitation, you can’t choose it.  The Royal Enclosure has always been invitation-only.  When it was first created, it was by invitation of the king!  Now you have to know someone who is already a member in order to get in.  It is very exclusive!

• Queen Anne Enclosure:  This is what we would recommend for the majority of serious horseracing punters.  Why?  There are extra amenities for bettors if you purchase the £75.00 admission ticket and then upgrade it to the £191.00 Furlong Club.  You even get your own racing tipster and TV screening racing coverage!  There are also an abundance of bars and restaurants to choose from. 

• Village Enclosure: The newest addition to the Royal Ascot festival is located at the heart of the racecourse and is only open from Thursday to Saturday. It offers fine views of the grandstand and the exciting final furlong! Betting facilities and a big screen are available as well as a big ensemble of  fine food and entertainment. 

• Windsor Enclosure.  This is the best choice for you if your priority is to save money on the cost of admission, since tickets only cost £37.00 - 46.00, and less than that if you happen to be attending with a group.  This is also the most casual, laid-back option.  In the Windsor, there is no formal dress code.  With the other two enclosures, there are strict guidelines and rules for what to wear.  This enclosure, like the others, features live music, multiple dining options, and a great view.

So essentially, when you are trying to decide which ticket to purchase, you have to ask yourself what your priorities are.  If you have an opportunity to attend at the Royal Enclosure, you should absolutely take it.  Those chances do not come around every day.  Otherwise, you will be choosing between the other three enclosures.  The Village Enclosure is very much the budget option, but you will still have a great time if you decide to go with it.  Queen Anne is the best choice if you can afford it, especially for wagering on the races.  And what do you do if you can’t make it out in person this year?  Don’t despair.  Just live stream the races from your favourite horse racing betting site, enjoy live coverage from the comfort of your own home, and bet on the Royal Ascot online!
