Can I Still Get Tickets for Royal Ascot 2017?
Royal Ascot horse racing festival 2017 will take place from Tuesday, June 20th-Saturday, June 24th. As this is one of the most exciting horse racing events anywhere in the world, you may be wondering whether you can still get in the door to this year’s event.
The answer to that question is, “Yes, but you better hurry!” It is expected that tickets to this year’s event will largely sell out several weeks before the event—and that is right where we are at right now.
As I am writing this (on May 31st), tickets for the Queen Anne Enclosure on Thursday, June 22nd are sold out. Tickets for both the Queen Anne Enclosure and the Village Enclosure are also sold out for Saturday, June 24th.
There is an exception—if you are willing to purchase the Furlong Club upgrade or the Villiers Club upgrade, you can still buy tickets for those enclosures for that day. These will cost you £222 or £225 respectively. The Windsor Enclosure is already sold out for Saturday as well.
Ticket prices right now are as follows:
- The Queen Anne Enclosure: £75 for Tuesday or Wednesday, £88 for Friday.
- The Village Enclosure: £68 for Thursday or Friday. Tickets are currently not available for Tuesday or Wednesday.
- The Windsor Enclosure: £37 for Tuesday or Wednesday, £46 for Thursday or Friday.
As you can see, prices for attending Royal Ascot 2017 are quite reasonable, especially for the Windsor Enclosure. This is not something you get to do every day, so it is well worth the expense.
As for discounted group rates, those are no longer available. You are however invited to email or phone Ascot directly to inquire about group arrangements.
If you want to indulge in fine dining at Royal Ascot 2017, you need to place a reservation. The cost starts at £269 + VAT. Like tickets to the stands, these reservations are going fast, so jump in there while you have a chance.
If you need an update on ticket availability and prices, you can check the Royal Ascot website here. If you look in the upper right-hand corner, you will also notice a gold button which says “Book Tickets.” That is where you can place your reservations. A few clicks and you will be all set.
While attending the Royal Meeting is an experience like no other, you should not fret if you are too late to reserve a ticket. ITV will be broadcasting the Royal Ascot races live, and you also can stream them on a reputable horse racing betting site. Online, you can access the best odds and you can enjoy free bets and promotions not available at the racecourse. That means that some of the best opportunities for betting on Royal Ascot 2017 are online.
