We are coming up fast on the biggest horse racing event of the year!  Royal Ascot takes place each year during the third week of June and lasts for five days.  This year’s event is scheduled to start Tuesday, June 14^th and run through Saturday, June 18^th.  During that week, spectators will have a chance to bet on 30 thrilling races!

• Friday, June 17^th:  The biggest event of the day on Friday is the Group One Coronation Stakes. 

• Saturday, June 18^th:  On the final day of Royal Ascot, you get to watch the thrilling Diamond Jubilee Stakes.  This is one of the most prestigious horse races in the world. 

“Can I get tickets?”

Yes, but you need to hurry if you want to get in!  Tickets for Thursday and Saturday are sold out for both the Queen Anne Enclosure and the Windsor Enclosure.  You can still buy tickets for the other three days.  Prices may increase closer to the week of Royal Ascot, so you probably want to jump on the great deals which are currently available while they last.

“What if I can’t attend in person?”

Didn’t buy your tickets on time, or just can’t make it to the racecourse?  That’s okay, you can still watch the races on Channel 4.  You may also be able to stream them on your UK betting site.  Most betting sites require you to place a wager before you can stream, but usually that bet is very minimal, generally just a couple of pounds.
