What To Do When You Have a Dispute With Your Betting Site

1. Make sure it isn’t you.

3. Attempt a polite resolution.

Still no money in your account?  If this has gone on for about a week, it is time to contact customer service again and politely request an explanation and swift resolution of the situation.  Do not put them on the defencive.  Give them a chance to want to fix the problem.

4. Inform them you will take action.

If they still refuse to comply, you are either dealing with total incompetence or with malice.  Let them know if the money is not in your account within a certain number of days, you will report them and post negative reviews.

5. Report the betting site and tell the world about your bad experience.

At this point, if you still do not have your money, it is time to go to the next level.  Post negative reviews online e.g. on forums and social media, so other customers know to avoid the bookie.  Report the website to the UK Gambling Commission.  This is probably your last shot at getting your money back.  Even if you cannot, though, you can at the very least stop the company from stealing from other customers.
